It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

I am in an era of change. I have graduated college, ended yet another romantic relationship, moved to the city of angeles, and have found myself starting over once again. For a girl who once hated change, I do it quit often. I have just finished my first year of graduate school and preparing to move for the sixth time in six years.

Beginning in May - my life, my routine, my schedule - will be thrown out the window. I will embark on the adventure of a life time - San Francisco, London, France, Spain, Greece, and the rest is up to fate and spontaneity. I am ready for the adventure, the newness, the people, the sights, the experiences, and the opportunity to see life through the lens of others. I am ready for change. . .
